If you didn’t know, most passenger cars on the Japanese market are offered with 4WD. So it wasn’t long until Mazda offered the compact Premacy with AWD.
The 4WD Premacy is available in two trim levels, 20E and 20S, both of which are powered by a 2.0 litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, that is mated to an 4 speed automatic transmission. Mazda states that the driver can select front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive at a push of a button.
Prices for the 4WD start at ¥2,109,000 for the entry-level 20E and ¥2,314,000 for better equipped 20S.
